THE ARK OF THE COVENANT’S

JOURNEY TO THE NEW JERUSALEM

By Doug Krieger

THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

What is being illuminated in this tome may surprise many a theologian.  The New Jerusalem’s cardinal measurement is the 12,000 Furlongs (Latin:  stadia—slightly more than the length of a furlong) of her length, width, and height (Rev. 21:16) and her 144-cubit wall (Rev. 21:17).  These measurements are altogether precise.  (Note: A “furlong” is 660 Linear Feet.)

Likewise, as we shall see, the Christian cannon of the 27 books of the New Testament provide for us the “full revelation of Messiah’s identity.” Moreover, the Hebrew Scriptures do and shall confirm that the Almighty has encoded these measurements (New Jerusalem and these 27 books) into the dates of actual history to validate His intention concerning the unity of His people under the United Kingdom of His dear Son.–the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

Now, follow me carefully . . . for we are about confirming some of the major tenets of what has become known as Commonwealth Theology wherein— among other amazing teachings—we have discovered that the ancient Israelites’ 10 Northern Tribes, described as EPHRAIM, Jezreel, Samaria and Israel are, and shall be, forever united by King David under the New Covenant (Ezk. 37:15-28) by the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Rev. 5:5; Heb. 7:14-16; Gen. 49:9-12).

To wit:

“My servant David shall be king over them . . . My servant David shall be their prince forevermore . . . Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them . . . I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore . . . My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  The nations also will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore” (Ezk. 37:24-28, excerpts).

THE ARK OF THE COVENANT – HOUSED THE “GLORY”

“The Ark of the Covenant” is described as “housing” the GLORY of the Lord—for contained within its 5.625 cubic cubit capacity (Ex. 25:10) were “the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant [i.e., the Ten Commandments on stone]” (Heb. 9:4).

The Ark of the Covenant initially “dwelt” (Hebrew:  Mishkan, meaning “to dwell”) in the Tabernacle (Hebrew: Mikdash or “sanctuary”) in the Wilderness (the “earthly dwelling place for God”—Ex. 25:8-9).   The Ark was then moved from the Wilderness across the Jordan River into the Land of Canaan under, if you would, the jurisdiction of the Tribe of Ephraim (Joshua) and erected in Shiloh, Ephraim—it was in the “Good Land” and at Shiloh for 396 years (which we will later discuss).

When the Ark of the Covenant was, after these 396 years, captured by the Philistines, the nameless “. . . daughter-in-law (of Eli, the High Priest at Shiloh, Ephraim) . . . heard the news that the ark of God was captured, and that her father-in-law and her husband (Phinehas, so of the High Priest, Eli) were dead, she bowed herself and gave birth . . . she named the son (prior to her death in childbirth) ICHABOD, saying, ‘The GLORY has departed from Israel!’ because the Ark of God had been captured” (1 Sam. 4:18-22, excerpts).

Literally, according to the Complete Jewish Bible, English translation, it was the GLORY that was taken into exile:  “She said, ‘The glory of Isra’el has gone into exile, because the ark of God has been captured’” (1 Sam. 4:22).

This Ark of God’s Glory was carried by the Levitical priests who stood with it in the Jordan River (cir. 1405 BC) as all Israel passed over into the Good Land (aka Canaan Land)–the Ark of the Covenant having been designed in the Wilderness during their 40-year journey (Ex. 25:10-22) whereupon “two cherubim of gold” at either end of its top entitled the “Mercy Seat” were positioned (Ex. 25:22; Joshua 3:6-8, 17).

Duly noted, the people of Israel set out behind the Ark of the Covenant some 2,000 cubits (Joshua 3:4) or, 2.1 Ft. X 2,000 HSC (Hebrew Royal Cubits) = 4,200 Feet or “42” in that this connotes the 42-month Testimony of Jesus upon His earthly 3 ½ years of ministry.  Likewise, in certain Hebraic circles a “Sabbath Day’s journey” wherein one is not supposed to travel no more than 4,200 feet on the Sabbath is practiced (See also:  Acts 1:12).  Also, there are 42-months (i.e., 1,260 days/30 prophetic days in a month = 42 months) whereupon the Two Witnesses shall prophesy (Rev. 11:3) prior to the Holy City being trampled upon for the same time frame (Rev. 11:2).

Ultimately, the GLORY OF GOD is seen in the book of Revelation at the close of God’s judgments upon the earth whereupon we read:

“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev. 11:15) . . .

“The temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple” (Rev. 11:19) – moreover, this Ark of His Covenant, bearing the glory of God, has a multidimensional realization when we view the “. . . the Woman, the Lamb’s Bride . . . the Holy City, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the GLORY OF GOD” (Rev. 21:9-11, excerpts).

Furthermore:

“But I saw no temple in it (the New Jerusalem), for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.  The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the VERY GLORY OF GOD illuminated it” (Rev. 21:22-23).

What a vision have we here!  The Temple AND the Tabernacle (Rev. 21:3) in heaven is both the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb is now with men as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah—wherein is the Ark of the Covenant (Rev. 11:19) but far more: This GLORY is expressed as the Holy City, New Jerusalem and as the Woman of Revelation 12 “Clothed with the SUN”—for she is the expression of God’s GLORY!  What can we say then concerning Revelation 21:3 as His Bride?

“. . . adorned for her husband . . . and I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, the TABERNACLE OF GOD is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people.”

Thus, the Temple and the Tabernacle which contained the Ark of the Covenant are revealed in heavenly realms intertwined as God and the Lamb and expressed as the Woman, His Bride, descending as the Holy City, New Jerusalem, to the earth having the GLORY OF GOD . . . astonishing us all:  THE ARK OF THE COVENANT IS FOUND! (Rev. 11:19“Then the Temple of god was opened in heaven, and the ARK OF HIS COVENANT was seen in His temple.”

HOW IS THE NEW JERUSALEM – THE GLORY OF GOD – CONNECTED WITH THE DATES OF 1445-586 BC – AND THE ARK OF THE COVENANT?

I thought it would be helpful to draw a number of chronological charts to assist us as we describe these incredible calendric marvels which attest to the JOURNEY of the Ark of the Covenant was no mere miscellaneous trek—it was divinely orchestrated to illustrate that our Messiah was preparing His GLORY for His New Jerusalem (please refer back to these charts for clarification):

ARK OF THE COVENANT'S SHILOH JOURNEY

What is described above concerning the Ark of the Covenant and its ultimate destination within the context of the Holy City, New Jerusalem, the Woman, the Bride of the Lamb is absolutely seen in the JOURNEY of the Ark of the Covenant in history and in time—confirming the Divine cohesion of the Hebrew and Christian Testaments . . . thereby giving joint witness to the Eternal Plan and Purpose of the Almighty in bringing into fellowship and love Creator God with His Creation—the apex of His Creation:  Redeemed Humanity—SHARING IN HIS GLORY.

ARK OF THE COVENANT - CONSTANTS

Prior to this incredible disclosure as seen in the journey of the Ark of the Covenant, it is imperative we take into account certain constants which are, in the main, wholly accepted by credible historians, archeologists, and theologians (interspersed with sundry comments):

    • 1445 BC marks the most credible date of the Exodus – ipso facto the initial Passover/Pesach –although the Ark of the Covenant was undoubtedly designed in the earlier part of the 40-year Wilderness Journey of the Israelites when they were delivered from Egypt and housed in the Tent of Meeting/Tabernacle in the Wilderness. (See Notes at end of this article to validate various statements.)
    • There were 480 years between the first Passover and the laying of the Solomonic Temple’s foundation in 1 Kings 6:1 – therefore 1445 BC minus 480 years = 965 BC—the “fourth year of King Solomon’s reign” and four years after the reign of King David ended in 969 BC.
    • 1405 BC marks the year in which the Tribes of Israel crossed the Jordan River into the Land of Canaan/Good Land (1445 BC–Passover, less 40 years of wilderness journey = 1405 BC).
    • The Ark of the Covenant was placed in the Tent of Meeting at Shiloh by Joshua within the tribal territory of Ephraim—for Joshua was of the Tribe of Ephraim (Joshua 18:2) whereupon Joshua spoke “Judah shall remain in their territory on the south, and the house of Joseph shall remain in their territory on the north” – thus Judah and Ephraim were distinguished but inseparable (Joshua 18:5).
    • The Ark of the Covenant was taken by the Philistines for 7 months (1 Samuel 6:1).
    • The Ark of the Covenant was released by the Philistines and then it did abide in Kiriath Jearim (aka Baalah) for 20 years (1 Sam. 7:2)—Kiriath-Jearim is located in the tribal territory of Judah.

THE "33" YRS. OF THE ARK AT THE TABERNACLE OF DAVID

    • The Ark of the Covenant did abide in Kiriath-Jearim in the house of Abinadab.  Abinadab consecrated Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the LORD for these 20 years (1 Sam. 7:1-2).  “Abinadab” means:  “the father is generous” and “Eleazar” means “God has helped.”  Moreover, the meaning of “Kiriath-Jearim” simply means “city of forests.”
    • David was crowned King by Judah/Benjamin for 7 months at Hebron, Judah – thereafter, David reigned over all 12 tribes from Hebron for 7 years – and over all Israel for 33 years from the City of David.  David was 30 years of age when he was crowned King and reigned over all Israel for 40 years (just to the south of Jerusalem – 2 Sam. 2:11; 5:1-5 1 Chron. 3:4.  David died at age 70 (1 Chron. 29:26-30).  (Note:  “Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age . . .” [Luke 3:23].)
    • Since the year of 965 BC was the fourth year of King Solomon’s reign; then this would mean that King David died four years earlier in the year 969 BC; thus King David commenced his reign 40 years previous to this year or 969 BC + 40 years = 1009 BC.
    • Since King David commenced his reign in 1009 BC, we can determine the following:  1405 BC (year Israel crossed the Jordan River) less 1009 BC (commencement year of King David’s rule) = 396 years.

LEVITE PRIEST BEAR THE ARK IN THE JORDAN RIVER AS ISRAEL CROSSES OVER

    • After the Ark of the Covenant was 20 years in Kiriath Jearim, then it was moved into the “Tabernacle of David”; however, at Nachon’s threshing floor Uzzah “put out his hand to the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen stumbled . . . God struck him there for his irreverence” (2 Sam. 6:6-7); consequently, King David placed the ark in the house of Obed-Edom for 90-days whereupon “God blessed Obed-Edom and all his household” (2 Sam. 6:11).  After this David brought the Ark of the Covenant with much fanfare into the Tabernacle of David (1 Chron. 15-16)–i.e. into the City of David (Jerusalem).
    • King Solomon commenced the building of the Temple in the year 965 BC in the month of Ziv (Ayyar or spring/April or May—1 Kings 6:37)—some 480 years from the initial Passover in 1445 BC in the fourth year of his reign (1 Kings 6:1); however, the Temple was not completed until “the eleventh year of Solomon’s reign in the month of Bul (the eighth month [aka Heshvan or October or November])—1 Kings 6:38.  Therefore, the Temple was in actual construction approximately 9 months in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign (spring of 965 BC) and completed in the eleventh year of Solomon’s reign – approximately 9 months into 958 BC (969 BC commenced Solomon’s reign less 11 years = 958 BC . . . there being 9 months in 965 BC and 9 months in 958 BC for a total of 18 months; therefore 7 years and 6 months (approximately the same timeframe David reigned from Hebron – precisely 7 years and 6 months or 965 BC = 9 months + 964 + 963 + 962 + 961 + 960 + 959 + 9 months of 958 = 7 years and 6 months; however, it is said that the Temple was 7 years in its building (1 Kings 6:38).  Notwithstanding, King Solomon’s completion in the month of Heshvan (8th month)—yet he waited for the Temple’s Consecration/Dedication for an additional year at the beginning of the Hebrew Sacred Calendar’s New Year at the Feast of Trumpets through to the end of the Feast of Tabernacles (21 days + the eighth day or 22nd day and then sent the Israelites away with joy to their “tents” – (2 Chron. 7:8-11; 1 Kings 6:38; 8:2, 62-66).
    • Therefore, from (l) above we can determine that it was in the year 958 BC that the Temple in Jerusalem was completed (969 BC less 11 years [4th year of King Solomon’s reign + 7 years = 11th year of King Solomon’s reign = 958 BC]); however, the Ark of the Covenant was not brought into the Temple until the month of Tishri (aka Ethanim) – which is the seventh month—meaning, since the Temple was completed in the month of Heshvan (October/November) it was not until the next year 957 BC that the Ark was placed in the Holy of Holies of the Solomonic Temple a whole year later in the month of Tishri (since Tishri, the 7th month, comes before the 8th month of Heshvan—1 Kings 8:2 – no doubt during the 21 feast days of Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles + the “eighth day” for a total of 22 days; then King Solomon sent the Israelites home on the 23rd day (1 Kings 8:65-66; 2 Chron. 7:9-11).  We can readily say that King Solomon’s quest to place the Ark of the Covenant in the Temple took place in his reign in its 12th year in that the 7th month of Tishrei commences the new “civil year” on Israel’s Sacred Calendar.
    • Therefore, since the Ark of the Covenant was taken by David up to the City of David near Jerusalem proper after remaining some 20 years + 90 days in the vicinity of Kiriath Jearim . . . then how long was it in the City of David before David reached the age of 70 and died?  Or, in what year did King David bring up the Ark of the Covenant and place it in the Tabernacle of David?  And, how long was it under King Solomon’s reign in the City of David prior to being placed in the Holiest of All in Solomon’s Temple?

HEBREW SACRED FESTIVAL CALENDAR

The answer to this:  David reigned from Jerusalem for 33 years (969 BC plus 33 years = 1002 BC—David commenced his reign from Jerusalem; therefore, since he reigned from Hebron for 7 years and 7 months, he commenced his 40-year reign as follows:  1002 + 7 years and 7 months or 1009 BC + 7 months.

David would have had to have been reigning as King from the City of David when the Ark of the Covenant was brought up from Kiriath Jearim—it must have been in the 20th year (+7 months) of his reign after the Ark had been in Kiriath Jearim those 20 years—so the Ark of the Covenant came into Jerusalem, into the Tabernacle of David in the 20th or 21st year of his reign (if we count the additional 90 days [household of Obed-Edom] as a portion of another year, together with the additional 7 months (total of 10 months or 3 [90 days] + 7 months = 10 months) when he reigned only over Judah from Hebron prior to reigning over all the 12 Tribes of Israel).

Therefore, if King David reigned for 40 years 7 months it would have been in the following year he brought the Ark of the Covenant into the Tabernacle of David (969 BC + 20 years = 989 BC – having commenced his reign in 1009 BC some 20 years earlier; consequently, it was in the year 1009 BC (those first set of 20 years of David’s reign that the Ark of the Covenant was in Kiriath Jearim with the additional 7 months of his reign in Hebron over Judah [equating to the 7 months wherein it had initially fallen into the hands of the Philistines]).

The Ark of the Covenant did abide in the Tabernacle of David for 33 years—the same age as our Lord Jesus when He was “cut off” in Jerusalem in 33 AD—having lived a full 32 years (if we consider that He was born on a Passover on the 1 BC side of the 1 BC/1 AD terrestrial year—each being 6 months for 1 BC and 6 months for 1 AD).

THE ARK OF THE COVENANT UNDER KING SOLOMON

Thus, the Ark of the Covenant was 20/21 years in the Tabernacle of David and some 12 years with King Solomon prior to its placement in the Holiest of All in Solomon’s Temple or 21 + 12 years = 33 years or a full 32 years—not to belabor the issue of sundry months of any given year.  This time frame occupied the same time frame as King David’s reign from Jerusalem—33 years.  Likewise, to validate its “33” associated with the New Jerusalem we find that 33 years X 12 months = 396 months which is a fractal/resemblance of the linear edge (her radius or 12,000 furlongs * 660 ft. = 7,920,000 linear feet ./. 2 = 3,960,000 linear feet [radius] or 396) of the New Jerusalem or 3,960,000 Ft. or “396.”  Likewise, as can be seen, this “396” is a fractal of the 396 years under “Ephraim jurisdiction” at Shiloh.

32/33 YEARS OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT IN DAVID'S TABERNACLE

    • We have determined that the Ark of the Covenant did abide in the Tabernacle in Shiloh, Ephraim for 396 years (1405 BC less 396 years = 1009 BC—the year commencing the reign of King David).  In actuality, and since Joshua set up the Tabernacle in the Wilderness or Tent of Meeting eventually in Shiloh, Ephraim, we can readily say that the Ark of the Covenant was under the “jurisdiction” of Ephraim, if you would, for 396 years (1405 BC to 1009 BC—at the end of 1009 BC David was crowned King over Judah at Hebron)—then for 7 months it was held by the Philistines (while David ruled for these same 7 months over Judah from Hebron)—then the Ark of the Covenant was placed in Kiriath Jearim (meaning "the city of trees") for 20 years + 90 days (in the household of Obed Edom) and thence into the Tabernacle of David for an additional 20/21 years of his reign + 12 years of King Solomon’s reign for a total of 32/33 years (21 years--remaining of King David's reign) + 12 years (of King Solomon's reign) = 33 years or a full 32 years as was the case with the Messiah Who lived a full 32 years--thus the Ark of the Covenant did abide in the Tabernacle of David a full 32 years unto its 33 years just as the life of Christ upon the earth did the same, having reach the age of 33 and was “cut off”).  I apologize for the apparent redundancies; however, unraveling these dates to substantiate the calendric revelations of the “divine intent” is critical for our understanding of the Eternal Plan and Purpose of God for the ages.
    • The last mentioning of the Ark of the Covenant being in the possession of Judah, in the Temple was under King Hezekiah (2 Kings 19:14-19; Isa. 37:14-17).    The destruction of the Solomonic Temple took place in 587/586 or 586 BC under King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon (see Notes below). Ezekiel records the GLORY OF THE LORD departed the Temple and did abide to its east—perhaps on the Mt. of Olives—as Judah was going into Babylonian Captivity (Ezk. 10).

THE 396 YEARS FROM 586 BC – THE ARK GOES MISSING

To our amazement the Ark of the Covenant was located in the Tabernacle of David.  This is all the more significant in understanding that the expression “Tabernacle of David” connotes a profound realization of the United Kingdom of David wherein all 12 Tribes were under his kingship.

We see then that in Acts 15:16-17 James prophetically explains the bringing into the Ekklesia which Jesus was building as the re-entry of Ephraim under the United Kingdom of David—i.e., the Tabernacle of David:

“‘After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; so that the rest of mankind (Amos uses “Edom” instead of “mankind”) may seek the LORD, even all the Gentiles [lit. “nations”] who are called by My name, says the LORD who does all these things.’” (See: Amos 9:11-12)

The various chronicles in the dates seen above are constant; however, and although the reign of King Hezekiah whereupon the Ark of the Covenant is alluded to by King Hezekiah was over 100 years before the destruction of the Solomonic Temple.  The date of 586 BC insofar as the 9th of Av (see Notes below) concerns is given by scores of chronologists/historians as the demise of the Temple – ipso facto the complete disappearance of the Ark of the Covenant (numerous “whereabouts” proliferate to this day).

THE DESTRUCTION OF THE SOLOMONIC TEMPLE IN 586 BC BY KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR

If we were to take the date of 586 BC and subtract the similar time frame of 396 years in which the Ark of the Covenant did abide at Shiloh, Ephraim (or under Ephraim jurisdiction)—having been taken from Shiloh and thence into the hands of the Philistines for 7 months; then some 20 years in Judah’s Kiriath Jearim before being carried thereafter for 90 days into the Household of Obed-Edom, thence into the Tabernacle of David for another 20/21 years . . . then we would come to the year of 982 BC (586 BC + 396 years = 982 BC).   Using the same number of years from the Solomonic Temple’s desolation/desecration/destruction by Nebuchadnezzar II, King of Babylon unto the 27th year of King David’s reign in Jerusalem (King David having brought the Ark of the Covenant into the Tabernacle of David—the Ark having been there for 7 years into his second set of 20 years of his total 40-year reign).

THE TWO SETS OF "396" AND THE CENTRAL "27" OF MESSIAH

David was reigning in Jerusalem at the time (982 BC)—for he did reign in Jerusalem some 33 years.  Therefore, 982 BC less 13 years = 969 BC (the year King David died at 70 years of age) . . . meaning there were 13 years of his reign left (982 BC less 13 yrs. = 969 BC) . . . of which 7 of those years prior to 982 BC King David reigned from Jerusalem having brought up the Ark of the Covenant to the Tabernacle of David in the year 989 BC (or 7 years + 13 years = 20 years (989-969 BC).

By looking at 396 years as the time frame in which the Ark of the Covenant was in Shiloh, Ephraim (1405 BC to 1009 BC)—having commenced its journey into Judah at the same time King David commenced his reign from Hebron over the 2 Southern Tribes (Judah and Benjamin) . . . and then adding an additional 27 years of King David’s Reign bringing us to 1009 BC less 27 years = 982 BC, we can then subtract 396 more years equal to the time the Ark of the Covenant was under Ephraim jurisdiction and we come to the year 586 BC (982 BC to 586 BC = 396 years) and the destruction of the Solomonic Temple.

Again, it is abundantly clear that the GLORY left Jerusalem as found in Ezekiel at the destruction of the Solomonic Temple:

“So the cherubim lifted up their wings, with the wheels beside them, and the GLORY OF THE GOD OF ISRAEL was high above them.  And the GLORY OF THE LORD went up from the midst of the city and stood on the mountain, which is on the east side of the city” (probably the Mt. of Olives) (Ezk. 11:22-23).

THE SIMPLICITY OF THE CHRONOLOGIES - From Adam's Creation to 586 BC

In summary – the chronological sequence of the ARK OF THE COVENANT’S JOURNEY is truly amazing as to its accuracy – first, let’s calculate from the Passover, etc.

3975-1875 BC (2,100 years)

3975 BC (Adam's creation date) less 2,100 years to Isaac, age 52, when he received the promise (based upon the dates given in the Masoretic Text (not the Septuagint) found in sundry genealogical chapters in the Torah (book of Genesis) – wherein Isaac received the PROMISE in Genesis 26.

Thus:  1875 BC is the year in which the PROMISE in/to ISAAC was given (Exodus 12 and Gal. 3) wherein there are 430 years between the Promise given and the first Passover.

1875-1445 BC (430 years)

Thus:  1875 BC less 430 years = 1445 BC (the First Passover) (Ex. 12 and Gal. 3) (SEE:  Note #2 for validation of the year 1445-1446 BC - for date of the Passover and consequent 1405 BC for Crossing of the Jordan River, etc.)

1445-1405 BC (40 years)

Then 1445 BC less 40 years of the Wilderness Journey = 1405 BC (Ark of the Covenant enters the Promised Land of Canaan – the Good Land under Ephraim (Joshua’s) jurisdiction eventually placed at Shiloh, Ephraim in the Tent of Meeting/Tabernacle in the Wilderness –

1405-1009 BC (396 years)

Thus:  1405 BC less 396 years (1/2 the distance [radius] of the New Jerusalem found in Revelation 21:16 as 12,000 furlongs * 660 ft. = 7,920,000 ft. ÷ 2 = 3,960,000 or the fractal of “396” –

Thus 1405 BC less 396 years = 1009 BC (Commencement of King David’s Reign and the transference of the Ark of the Covenant for 7 months into the hands of the Philistines when King David ruled over only Judah/Benjamin from Hebron beginning in 1009 BC

1009-982 BC (27 years)

27 years of David’s Reign between 1009 BC to 982 BC (Ark of the Covenant 20 years at Kiriath-Jearim for 20 years and then 7 years at the Tabernacle of David – total years at Tabernacle of David – 32/33 years

982-586 BC (396 years)

982 less 396 years unto 586 BC – Years between the 27th year of King David’s reign and the Destruction of the Solomonic Temple by King Nebuchadnezzar II, King of Babylon

THE “396” IS ONE-HALF THE EDGE OF THE NEW JERUSALEM

Therefore, the following schematic can be described:

396 years + 27 years + 396 years = 1405 BC; less 396 years = 1009 BC; less 27 years = 982 BC; less 396 years = 586 BC.

These two sets of “396 years” are like book ends with King David’s “27” in the middle of the two sets of “396.”  What is going on here?

The measurement of the New Jerusalem (aforementioned) according to Revelation 21:16 has an edge on it of 12,000 furlongs.  A single furlong is 660 linear feet.  Therefore, 12,000 * 660 = 7,920,000 Feet or 7,920,000/5,280 (feet in one mile) = 1,500 miles.  However, this “7920” is a fractal of the earth’s diameter at 7,920 miles; therefore, the radius of the earth of earth and one-half the distance of the edge of the New Jerusalem will be either 3,960,000 linear feet of the New Jerusalem) or 750 miles (“75” or 1/2 of 1,500 miles) or 3,960 miles (earth’s radius) or simply “396.”

What I am suggesting is this:  the Ark of the Covenant’s stay in Ephraim of 396 years equates to one-half of the linear measurement of the edge of the New Jerusalem’s “number set” of “396” (i.e. 3,960,000 Ft.).

Likewise, Solomon’s Mystical Sea of Caste Bronze whose circumference was also in inches measured some 792 inches being 252 inches in diameter or 10 cubits X 25.20 inches = 252 inches X Pi or simple Pi @ 3.14 = 3.142857 X 252 inches = 792 inches in circumference (2 Chron. 4:2); therefore, one-half of its circumference was 396 inches.

The earth’s radius is calculated as follows:  7,920 miles (mean diameter) ÷ 2 = 3,960 miles or “396.”

The “27” in the midst of these two sets of “396” falls upon King David’s reign from Jerusalem, the City of David; therefore, we have 396 + 396 = 792 (years) + 27 years in the midst of these two sets.  In our studies we have determined that the 27 books of the New Testament give us the full revelation of the Messiah.

The “33” – “27” – “396” – “792” – and the “21 + 12”

Let’s refresh: The 33 years can be configured as follows:

33 * 12 months in a year = 396 months – which in turn is a fractal or resemblance of the 396 years aforementioned or the radius of one edge of the New Jerusalem/the Earth’s radius or ½ the circumference of Solomon’s Mystical Sea of Caste Bronze.  Messiah is absolute for His Bride, the New Jerusalem and shall accomplish this through the “Washing of water by the Word” as seen in the Laver (Eph. 5:25-27) . . .

“. . . Christ also loved the EKKLESIA and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious Ekklesia, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”

Also, King David’s 27 years = 27 * 12 months in a year = 324 months which is a fractal/resemblance of the “wall of the New Jerusalem” in that 144 Cubits * 2.1 feet (or 25.20 inches ÷ 12 inches = 2.1 ft.) = 302.4 feet or “324” if zero is taken out. (The Hebrew Sacred cubit being 25.20 inches in accord with Ezekiel 40:5 (i.e., six ROYAL cubits, each cubit bearing 2.1 feet X 6 = 12.6 feet) or 360 degrees in one rotation of the earth X 7 days = 2520 degrees or the 25.20 inches or the 2.1 ft of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit.

Likewise:  396 * 2 = 792 is simply the reflection of the edge measurement of the New Jerusalem which is 12,000 furlongs * 660 ft. (one furlong) = 7,920,000 linear feet.  As a sidebar, and since, if the New Jerusalem is seen as a cube (but, as well, a “mountain” with a pyramidal shape—since her likelihood is multidimensional), we can calculate the following:

792 X 12 Edges of any Cube = 9,504.  This is a fractal of the distance of the earth to the sun or 95,040,000 miles.  Interestingly enough, scores of Islamic sites validate this calculation, as well as some astro-physicists (See:  http://islamtk.weebly.com/distance-from-the-sun.html).  In that Christ, the Messiah, is portrayed as the “Sun of Righteousness” Who shall appear on that Great Day of God with “healing in His wings” (Mal. 4:2)—we, therefore, find this calculation of Earth’s distance from the sun most remarkable.

Furthermore:  “21” and “12”—equal in sum to 33—these are the precise time frames wherein 20/21 years the Ark of the Covenant did abide in the Tabernacle of David under King David’s reign and an additional 12 years in the same Tabernacle under King Solomon’s reign . . . “21” connotes the 2.1 ft. of the Hebrew Sacred Cubit and the “12” constitutes the 12 Tribes of Israel and the 12 Apostles of the Lamb.

Reviewing these years we have:

The “144” is written all over the New Jerusalem – this “four-square” eternal object of His Love is 12,000 Furlongs by 12,000 Furlongs or 12 X 12 = 144 (actually 144,000,000 sq. furlongs) and its wall is “144” cubits—without going into the actual length in feet of a Hebrew Royal Cubit (Ezk. 40:5).  Therefore, we find it somewhat amazing that Moses’ very age when he was taken by the Almighty was:

120 Years (Moses) X 12 months = 1,440 or “144” . . . The UNITED KINGDOM was as follows:  40 Yrs. (Saul) + 40 Yrs. (David) + 40 Yrs. (Solomon) = 120 years X 12 months = 1,440 months or “144” – again, the cardinal number of the New Jerusalem.

70 Years (David) X 12 months = 840 or “84” – NOTE:  There are “84” months in 7 years or 84 months X 30 days in a “prophetic month” = 2520 which is a fractal of the 25.20 inch Hebrew Royal/Sacred Cubit.

33 Years (Jesus) X 12 =396 (Fractal of ½ of the 792 edge of the New Jerusalem) – Also:  Years of David’s Reign from Jerusalem; Years the Ark of the Covenant was domiciled in the Tabernacle of David.

27 Years of Messiah (New Testament) – Again:  396 Yrs. (Ephraim) + 27 Yrs. (David’s Reigning) + 396 Yrs. (Judah) unto 586 BC (the Glory leaves) or 27 Yrs. X 12 months – 324 months which is a fractal of the Wall of the New Jerusalem @ 144 Cubits X 2.1 feet (25.20 in. ÷ 12 in. = 2.1 ft.) = 302.4 Ft. or “324”

IN SUMMARY

Far greater detail could be amplifying our discoveries herein—suffice it to say, these remarkable configurations of the two sets of “396” . . . and in their midst the “27” of King David, the archetype of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, our King David . . . cannot go unrecognized as to the Eternal Plan and Purpose of the Almighty of taking Shiloh (out of Ephraim) and bringing it to Judah’s Scepter, King David.

Here, we can clearly see God’s purposes in bringing Ephraim (Israel’s 10 tribes) together with Judah’s (2 tribes of the south)—both sharing the same blessings of the Ark of the Covenant bridged by King David’s “27.”

The "center piece" of the 27 years of King David's Reign amplifies that Yeshua/Jesus is the Son of David--the 27 books of the New Testament provide the full revelation of the Messiah to us all--even so, in the midst of the New Jerusalem's "792" is the "27" or "396" (Ephraim) + "27" (The Son of David) + "396" (Judah's years/jurisdiction).

He, Messiah, has made of the Two – Ephraim and Judah – One New Man, so making peace (Eph. 2:14-18) – it is King David’s United Kingdom—One Kingdom, One King:

“‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions.’ Then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.’  Then join them one to another for yourself into one stick, and they will become one in your hand . . . Surely I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand . . . David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd . . . My servant David shall be their prince forever.  Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them . . . and I will set My sanctuary in their midst forevermore.  My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be their God, and they shall be My people.  The nations also will know that I, the LORD, sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary is in their midst forevermore.” (Ezk. 37 excerpts)

THE ARK OF HIS COVENANT WAS SEEN IN HIS TEMPLE." - REV. 11:19

“UNTIL SHILOH COME”

Now, as you read Jacob/Israel’s prophecy over his son Judah, you may be able to fathom the profound meaning of “UNTIL SHILOH COME” – for the Lion of the Tribe of Judah in His GLORY has journeyed from SHILOH’s Tent of Meeting to the Tabernacle of David . . .

“Judah is a lion’s whelp [cub]; from the prey, my son, you have gone up.  He bows down, he lies down as a lion; and as a lion, who shall rouse him?  The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, UNTIL SHILOH COMES; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people.  Binding his donkey to the vine, and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, He washed His garments in wine, and His clothes in the blood of grapes.  His eyes are darker than wine, and his tenth whiter than milk” (Gen. 49:9-12).

All NOTES can be found hereunder:

At Shiloh, the “whole congregation of Israel assembled…and set up the tabernacle of the congregation” (Joshua 18:1). According to Talmudic sources, the Tabernacle rested at Shiloh for 369 years (Zevachim 118b), (Sourced 01.08.2022 – https://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Shiloh_(Bible).

NOTE:  The Talmud’s efforts to confine the Ark’s abiding at Shiloh for 369 years and not 396 years – a difference of 27 years (oddly enough) may be accounted for in part that a number of years took place between 1405 BC and the actual erection of the Tent of Meeting at Shiloh—the difference of 27 years only confirms a time frame from Jordan’s crossing to the actual erection of the Tent of Meeting to be that of Messiah’s 27 books of the New Testament—amazing indeed!

1445/6 BC – Got Questions – also:  The early date, 1446 BC, is the most common date applied in conservative interpretations of Scripture. This takes the statement of 1 Kings 6:1 literally, looking back 480 years from the fourth year of the reign of Solomon, in the early-to-mid 900s BC. A parallel timeline is given in Judges 11:26. Using mainstream dating of Egyptian dynasties, this would place the arrival of Joseph and his family in Egypt (Exodus 1:1–7) shortly before the culture was conquered by foreign invaders, only to be returned to ethnic Egyptian rule centuries later (Exodus 1:8).

This view would ascribe the murder of infants (Exodus 1:16–21) to either Amenhotep I or Thutmose I, whose reputations align with such cruelty. It also connects to Thutmose I’s daughter, Hatshepsut, a female co-regent (Exodus 2:5–6) whose stepson worked to counter her legacy (Exodus 2:14–15). Amenhotep II, the seventh Pharaoh of the Eighteenth Dynasty, notably suffered a lack of military campaigns beginning in 1446 BC (Exodus 14:28), and his heir, Thutmose IV, was criticized for being a less-than-legitimate successor (Exodus 11:4–512:29
