What you are about to LISTEN to is a two-part (30 min. each) with PowerPoint slides of a conference held in March, 2022 in Vacaville, California at the JOURNEY DOWNTOWN COFFEE COMPANY by some 20+ speakers. Specifically, it covered the VISION/MEANING & PRACTICE OF EKKLESIA as in Jesus said: “I will build my Ekklesia (church) and the Gates of Hades will not prevail against it” (Matt. 16).

Some of our friends who are familiar with Commonwealth Theology, sorry to say, casually express the thought that the Commonwealth of Israel has little to do with the building up of Christ’s Ekklesia–they couldn’t be further from the truth of the matter: THE COMMONWEALTH OF ISRAEL IS THE LORD’S EKKLESIA, plain and straightforward. We not only have our citizenship in heaven (Phil. 3:20) wherein “. . . you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God” (Eph. 2:19), but since both these statements are absolutely true, then follows that we were, as well, (at the time before we knew Christ) “. . . excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise” (Eph. 2:12–NIV) or as the NKJV states: “aliens from the COMMONWEALTH OF ISRAEL and strangers from the covenants of promise” – the Greek word used for this expression of COMMONWEALTH is Strong’s Greek: 4174. πολιτεία (politeia) — citizenshiphttps://biblehub.com › Greek › 4174 Usage: (a) commonwealth, polity; citizen body, (b) (the Roman) citizenship, citizen-rights, franchise. Messiah’s ultimate intention is the building up of His Ekklesia (HIS PEOPLE) wherein the GATES OF HADES shall not prevail against her offensive charge to thwart the very Gates of Hades–that’s what Commonwealth Theology is all about!

What did Jesus mean by that statement (“I will build My Ekklesia”)–what is its context and how or why would His disciples understand what He meant by it.
